    The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients.

    The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.

    Shift Details:
    Part time, 24 hours. Day shift with weekend rotation and holiday and on call.

    Will case manage and treat patients in a variety of home environments, driving is required (mileage reimbursement given)

    Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers.

    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
    • RNs with less than 12 months of working experience as an RN prior to joining Intermountain must obtain their BSN within five years of their start date.
    • Must complete a BSN degree within four (4) years from the Registered Nurses date of hire unless the Registered Nurse has a minimum of fifteen (15) years of proven continuous Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
    • Previous experience in an Acute Care, Home Health, or Hospice setting
    Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans.

    • Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
    • Promotes mission, vision, and values of SCL Health, and abides by service behavior standards.
    • May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.

    Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.- and -Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.- and -Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.

    This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.- Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.

    and -Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc).- Homecare - Denver Metro
