Description
Payroll ManagerResponsibilities
Process and manage end-to-end payroll operations, including calculations, deductions, and withholdings.
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with legal and company policies.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to obtain necessary payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations affecting payroll and implement necessary adjustments.
Generate and analyze payroll reports to identify errors, discrepancies, or opportunities for improvement.
Address payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing clear and timely responses.
Oversee payroll-related compliance, including tax filings, W-2 and 1099 issuance, and other regulatory requirements.
Implement and maintain payroll best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors during payroll audits.
Keep abreast of industry trends and technologies to recommend and implement process improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred), but will consider relevant experience in lieu of degree
Proven experience processing payroll for salaries employees and handling bonus and commission processing and calculations
In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements
3+ years of management experience
Proficient in ADP
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong organizational and time management skills
