Description
Patient Account RepresentativeTravel Required :
The senior patient account representative will train fellow team members and manage, update and prepare a variety of reports for leadership.
PARs will assist team members with providing/finding solutions and account guidance. They will assist supervisors and managers as needed with various projects and review and resolve commercial denials.They will submit facility and non-clinical appeals and facilitate resolution by referring the matter to the appropriate subject matter expert.
Resubmit Corrected Claims and supporting documentation as need for the patient experience.Communicate with other organizational departments to ensure proper handling of patient accounts.
Excellent customer service skills
~ Basic computer skills
~- 3 years related or general knowledge of payor-specific or medical specialty billing
Ability to interpret and apply reimbursement aspects of managed healthcare contracts.
