    Description
    Washington College invites applicants for Director and Curator of Kohl Gallery, a non-tenure track faculty appointment .

    Gallery exhibitions and events should cultivate Kohl Gallery's role as a vital visual arts center, advance its mission of engaged teaching, and complement the College curriculum in a range of disciplines.

    Facilitate majors' year-long Senior Capstone Experience and oversee student exhibitions;
    Manage budgetary and day-to-day operations of the gallery;
    Engage in outreach to key constituencies on and off campus;
    Identify and cultivate individual donors and foundation support.

    Courses are structured to lessen the boundaries between artistic disciplines, and to facilitate conceptual depth and fluidity between artistic media.

    Courses in museum studies or arts management would also be a welcome addition to our curriculum.

    Minimum Required Qualifications:
    The successful candidate will have an MFA in Studio Art or PhD in Art History or a related field
