    Description

    Job Summary:

    The role partners with functional leaders on a broad range of activities to develop and implement HR solutions that support relevant strategic goals and the needs of our employees. The position serves as a resource to team members in maximizing results using sound HR practices, providing reliable direction and counsel on HR related issues and/or services while ensuring consistency and compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

    Principle Responsibilities:

    • Develops a positive relationship with team members are all levels ensuring ability to provide creative HR solutions.
    • Builds a reputation as a neutral and approachable human resources professional.
    • Handles employee relations issues and makes recommendations to resolve concerns and/or improve morale.
    • Monitors, audits, and investigates HR related matters and regulations as needed to ensure sound and compliant resolution.
    • Provides individual coaching and advice to managers and employees regarding company policies, performance management, training and professional development, compensation, benefits, disability, and employee engagement.
    • Provide full life cycle recruiting to including sourcing, evaluating resumes, prescreening applicants, interviewing, evaluating skills, and negotiating compensation.
    • Utilize various channels to conduct strategic sourcing to identify and engage with top active and passive talent.
    • Works to develop and revise policies, practices, and procedures, as needed.
    • Promptly responds to all requests relating to unemployment and represents company at unemployment hearings.
    • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and sensitivity to all HR related matters and information.
    • Maintains the human resource information system (HRIS) records.
    • Manage worker's compensation and general liability claims, ensuring that legal obligations are met, employees receive appropriate treatments, and assignments are available to facilitate prompt return to work.
    • Ensure key metrics are maintained.
    • Conducts surveys to measure results.
    • 20% travel required

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum 3 years' experience within Human Resources
    • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
    • Highly motivated, confidential, well-organized, and quality focused
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite required
    • Strong knowledge working with HRIS (ADP) desired
    • Must have broad, basic understanding of federal, state and local employment laws
    • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both oral and written
    • Must be a team-oriented professional who can handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
    • A demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, to be proactive, to work independently of day-to-day supervision
    • Ability to identify and solve problems, to work within deadlines with a high attention to detail, and to work independently in a fast paced, dynamic environment
    • Strong business acumen and the ability to influence and develop strong working relationships with all levels of employees
