    Reports to: Principal

    Campus: Morales Jr. High

    Pay Grade: 3- Administrative Para- 217 Days

    Wage/Hour Status: Nonexempt

    Primary Purpose:

    Responsible for maintaining accurate attendance records for the campus, student records and grade reports at the campus level. Input student enrollment and withdrawals into the district computer system.

    Qualifications:

    Education/Certification:

    High School Diploma

    Associate's Degree Preferred

    Special Knowledge/Skills:
    • Ability to maintain accurate records
    • Ability to use personal computer and software to develop or maintain spreadsheets and databases
    • Basic math skills
    • Proficient typewriting, keyboarding and file maintenance skills
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
    Experience:

    Two years data entry experience

    Major Responsibilities and Duties

    Records Management

    1. Collect and enter attendance and discipline data into the established database and verify accuracy according to the established procedures.
    2. Prepare and print reports, including attendance/discipline reports.
    3. Assist parents, students and teachers with questions regarding student attendance/discipline.
    4. Compile, maintain, and file all required physical and computerized reports, records, and other pertinent documents.
    5. Report all attendance problems to the principal and counselor(s).
