    Position Summary:
    Royal Caribbean is looking for an analyst to join its Infrastructure Finance Group The Infrastructure Finance Group seeks strategic destination and infrastructure JV investments around the globe that serve Royal Caribbean Groups growing fleet of ships and markets improve guest satisfaction and generate long-term returns This position works closely with the Infrastructure Finance and Business Owners of the Destination Development team as support for financial analysis to help move projects forward and manage internal financial reporting and protocols This position will help support the financial planning and operating forecasts as well as review prepare upload retrieve and generate financial reports The analyst will support the Infrastructure Finance and Business Owners of the Destination Development team effectively manage their budget and help manage the teams expense activity and approvals ensuring completeness accuracy and conformance with procedures and regulations Additionally the analyst will develop and maintain reports to present to leadership updates on financial activity and forecasts for the Infrastructure Finance GroupEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Financial Analysis Support the Infrastructure Finance and Business Owners of the Destination Development team in updating preparing retrieving loading and reporting of actuals and forecasting the portfolio of JV investment financials and conducting ad hoc analyses as needed for portfolio investmentsThis position will help analyze month-end variances and submits explanations to Accounting and Brand FinanceLiaison for Internal Financial Communication and ApprovalsServe as key contact for the Infrastructure Finance group with the Capital Planning Internal and External Financial Reporting Accounts Payable Audit Compliance Corporate Finance Technical Accounting Group Brand Finance and Cash Management OfficeWorks efficiently with both internal and external departments to manage approvals submit required SOX compliance and financial reports and oversees accurate accounting of all JV investments and transactionsBudget Management Manage the Infrastructure Finance and Business Owners of the Destination Development teams budget by optimizing group spend maintaining the expense tracker and updating the groups forecast accordinglyCompliance and Audit Assist vendors with onboarding process addressing any issue or pending items in Apex coordinating with vendors and portal administrators to expedite the onboarding timeline in order to minimize risk by providing guidance on the organizations processes practices compliance and expectationsSupport internal and external audit/compliance groups with various activities that may include testing documentation and data validationTransaction & Invoice Processing for vendors and relevant transactions for the Infrastructure Finance group This includes reviewing contracts and terms with partners and vendors to assess the financial impact as well as ensuring all transactions are accurately paid and reflected in the systems Perform special projects and assignments under direction of department management/supervisorQualifications Knowledge and Skills:Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Accounting or a quantitative discipline and 1-3 years of experience in a financial roleExperience in accounting asset management or real estate investments preferredProficiency in EssBase/EPM experience preferredStrong accounting analytical and financial analysis skills requiredDetail oriented and well organizedAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writingExcellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of management employees co-workers and vendorsProactive work style with the ability to work independently with limited directionAbility to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic and fast paced environment while handling multiple projectsKeen attention to detailsAbility to prioritize deliverables and meet demanding deadlinesAbility to work well within a team-oriented environment or individuallyProficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is requiredWe know there's a lot to consider As you go through the application process our recruiters will be glad to provide guidance and more relevant details to answer any additional questions Thank you again for your interest in Royal Caribbean Group We'll hope to see you onboard soonIt is the policy of the Company to ensure equal employment and promotion opportunity to qualified candidates without discrimination or harassment on the basis of race color religion sex age national origin disability sexual orientation sexuality gender identity or expression marital status or any other characteristic protected by law Royal Caribbean Group and each of its subsidiaries prohibit and will not tolerate discrimination or harassment#LI-SH1
