    Key Responsibilities

    • Construct mechanical sub-assemblies and final assemblies with precision.
    • Adhere to safety protocols as set by Fori Automation management, MIOSHA, and OSHA.
    • Complete in-process quality control checklists and audits as required.
    • Ensure high-quality craftsmanship in all tasks performed.
    • Maintain excellent housekeeping practices in the work area.
    • Take directions from your leader or supervisor effectively.
    • Communicate job status updates to the Mechanical Assembly Leader.
    • Be aware of job deadlines and manage your workflow accordingly.
    • Regularly report daily progress to your supervisor.
    • Assist with disassembly, packing, and loading of machines for shipment.
    • Fill in for absent team members as needed.
    • Order materials and coordinate with receiving when necessary.
    • Participate in startup and troubleshooting of equipment.
    • Suggest improvements in work methods and materials to enhance designs.
    • Travel to customer locations for installations, debugging, and problem-solving as needed.
    • Interpret build prints collaboratively with Mechanical Engineers to rectify design issues.
    • Initiate and document engineering changes based on ECO procedures.
    • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Support special projects as assigned.
    • Provide training and guidance to new employees.

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma required.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machine Builder.
