    Position:

    SUMMER PROGRAM:
    SPEECH & LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST


    Program/Department:
    Special Education (Related Services)


    Position Length:
    July 1, July 31, day PMT Training 6/26/2024), Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 2:30 pm (Closed July 4th & 5th for Holiday)


    Salary Range:
    Per CESEA contract


    Anticipated Start Date:
    July 1, day for PMT Training 6/26/202- if required)

    Qualifications:

    Candidates must have a Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology, hold a certificate in Speech and Hearing from the State of Connecticut and be licensed according to the State of Connecticut Health Department guidelines.

    They must also have prior practicum experience working with special needs students with moderate to severe communication disorders.

    Candidates with two or more years of experience working with special needs students in a public school or clinical setting who possess knowledge of alternative means of communication and speech/language theory are preferred.

    Responsibilities:
    Available in preschool, elementary and secondary level special education summer session programs.

    Work as part of a multidisciplinary team for students with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, neurological impairment and serious emotional disabilities.
