    **Healthcare Referral Coordinator Role**

    The Healthcare Referral Coordinator is a vital member of our caring community, responsible for scheduling and pre-registering patients for exams and procedures with specialists and providers outside of the primary care physician's office.

    This role involves performing basic administrative tasks, such as gathering and communicating patient information and preparation instructions to referring providers. Decisions are made within defined parameters and under close supervision.

    We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Referral Coordinator to join our team. If you have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in a clinical setting and are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, we encourage you to apply.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Schedule and pre-register patients for exams and procedures
    • Gather and communicate patient information and preparation instructions
    • Perform basic administrative tasks

    Requirements:

    • At least 1 year of hands-on healthcare Referral Coordinator experience in a clinical setting
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Experience with Electronic Medical Records
    • Excellent communication abilities

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bilingual English/Spanish
    • Knowledge of ICD 10 and CPT coding
    • Referral experience

    Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

    Salary Range: $31,900 - $43,900 per year
