Software Engineer - C++ Windows Agent Intern

Location: United States Remote

The Agent DevOps team works closely with our agent development, backend, and quality engineering groups to enable each team to work as efficiently as possible with an aim to release a market-leading product. We build infrastructure in multiple clouds, do a lot of systems programming with the various operating systems/versions, and build scalable pipelines to increase automation and testing of our product. Our goal as a team is to be a catalyst to our internal customers while simultaneously increasing velocity safety of our releases. Work in DevOps builds polyglot experience in multiple areas of technology, and we typically have our hands in everything. Development experience will be equally as important as operations.

Our primary tech stack consists of git/GitLab/pipelines, Packer, Terraform, C++, Python, and shell scripting as we work with our agent teams. AWS is our primary cloud (various services), though we also use Azure. Systems programming experience in any operating system (Windows, Linux, or macOS) is an everyday skill. There is also opportunity on the backend side to work with Kubernetes, containers, and Go.

Skills and Requirements

We expect to see:

1 Year of college education/STEM/bootcamp experience

C++ and Windows OS GUI or Kernel

An eagerness to learn and dive into new programming languages and technologies

Self motivation and self direction along with strong communications skills

Work Environment

We are a remote first team and are geographically distributed across the US, Canada, and UK - we utilize tools like Mattermost, Google Meet and Zoom to facilitate communication and tools like Miro and Lucid Charts for diagramming and communicating ideas. We also believe in a strong work-life balance and providing support for team members to accomplish that.
