    Specialty Pharmacy Patient Care Coordinator

    The Specialty Pharmacy Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for providing integrated support to patients, pharmacists and clinic staff by delivering a full continuum of specialty medication services.

    This role requires a result-oriented individual with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high-quality patient care and service. A high level of detail orientation and strong administrative/organizational skills are essential.

    Education Requirements:

    A minimum of a High School / GED diploma plus one year of post-secondary education or related work experience.

    Certifications and Licenses:

    Pharmacy Technician National Certification through PTCB or NHA required.

    Vermont Board of Pharmacy Technician License required.

    Experience:

    A minimum of one year as a Pharmacy Technician or equivalent experience required.

    Three to five years of experience preferred.

    Specialty pharmacy or pre-certification experience strongly encouraged.

    Background Check and Drug Screening:

    Conditional offers of employment in the Specialty Pharmacy department are contingent upon favorable completion of a thorough background check and post-offer, pre-employment drug screening.
