- Perform continuous ECG monitoring and rhythm analysis.
- Identify and respond to potentially life-threatening arrhythmias.
- Record and document rhythms during codes.
- Perform EKGs with proper electrode placement.
- Troubleshoot monitoring and equipment issues.
- Communicate clearly with nurses, physicians, and clinical staff.
- Enter and verify orders and retrieve lab results in the system.
- Ensure accurate documentation per facility standards.
- Safely operate monitoring and medical equipment.
- Prior experience working directly as a Telemetry Technician or Monitor Tech.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office).

- BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
- Dysrhythmia certification (required).
