Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, a related specialized area or field is required. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

What you'll be doing

Providing Cybersecurity subject matter expertise (SME) as part of the Systems Engineering team
Participating in requirements definition and design for cybersecurity-focused system improvements
Analyzing system, functional and performance requirements
Authoring test procedures and conduct systems integration and test
Analyzing problem tickets and determining expected system behavior and corrections

What you need to bring to the table:

Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related degree/certification
High proficiency in using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent oral and written communication skills
A strong work ethic and discipline

What sets you apart:

Experience with defining or implementing cybersecurity system requirements and design
Experience with DOORS or other requirements management tools
Experience working with the Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS)
Experience with Agile development
Knowledge of requirements management and system modeling tools
Ability to sell your concepts and ideas
Creative thinking with the ability to multi-task
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative (team) environment
Ability to quickly grasp and apply new information
Ability to handle more complex assignments as experience progresses
Self-motivated, engaged, continuously learning and looking for ways to improve things

One last thing:

Department of Defense TBD security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected for the Entry-Level Systems Engineer position will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Some travel and shift work may be required based on the program's needs.
