    Base salary for this position is dependent upon location and experience:
    Boston, MA- $128,276.00 top $160,345.00
    Orange, CT- $122,699.00 to $153,374.00
    Portand, OR - $111,544.00 to $139,431.00

    Avangrid Renewables is one of the leading providers of renewable power in the US with a portfolio of over 9.6 GW of owned and managed wind and solar generation in more than 20 states.

    The Program Manager of Business Performance is responsible for providing senior management with consistent, accurate and relevant business data to enable continued business performance analysis and informed business decisions.

    This includes creating and maintaining key performance indicators, production measures, P&L analyses, and project portfolio status.
    Key Responsibilities
    Track the overall performance of the business through targeted metrics, benchmarking, and analysis (20%)

    Implement tools and processes designed to improve the time to design effective reporting and analyze the results
    Drive performance against targets by analyzing results and determining the impact to financial and operational performance
    Collaborate with business area leaders to understand assumptions and performance and explore opportunities to increase performance and predictability

    Perform research, offer insights, and analyze market data and trends of competitors. Prepare a comprehensive quarterly report on key competitors in the renewables market. (15%)
    Centralize business reporting data for internal and external processes to ensure consistency and accuracy.

    Serve as a liaison between the business area leaders and corporate functions (Investor Relations, Communications, Control, etc.) in the preparation of earnings presentations, relevant facts, and forecasts.

    Prepare presentations on the results of the renewable business working closely with the CEO office on reporting for board and management committee meetings as well as other internal and external audiences.

    Coordinate internally and support business areas in the preparing, tracking and revisions to the budget. Serve as an interface between the business and the Control/Finance group. (10%)
    Extensive interaction with senior management, CEO office, Investor Relation, Control, and business operations. (10%)
    Elaborate on specific reporting of business metrics/results and ad-hoc analysis. (5%)
    Participate in the preparation and evaluation of the long-term projections of the Business (5%)
    Manage ad-hoc cross-functional projects within Planning & Analysis department and boarder Renewables Business. (5%)
    10% of travel required
    Required Qualifications
    Experience in the utility/energy industry with at least 8 years of financial analysis or controlling experience.
    Able to lead internal processes and to interface and interact with different levels of the company.
    Demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills, particularly with respect to analyzing performance drivers, trends, and cause/effect relations.
    Self-directed with the ability to prioritize diverse workloads while maintaining progress
    Experience working with non-regulated energy markets and a keen understanding of the commercial decision areas of an energy company.
    Strong presentation skills, combined with written and verbal communication skills a must. Able to communicate in a clear, concise, and concrete way to various management levels of the organization.
    A bachelors degree in economics, finance, or related field is required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Preferred Qualifications
    Masters Degree or MBA preferred.
