    Overview:

    University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 180 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. Our focus is on providing the highest quality subspecialty diagnostic care for our patients, referring physicians, hospitals and our healthcare clients. The more subspecialists driving this focus, the better the quality of care.

    In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for 14 affiliated regional healthcare centers and for our own 23 medical imaging centers. In addition, University Radiology serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year providing 24/7/365 coverage/interpretation services.

    We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to work in our East Brunswick , NJ Business Office. This position reports to the CEO and has overall responsibility for all aspects of finance, accounting, treasury and budgets for URG and all partner companies.

    Responsibilities:
    • Provides strategic and financial leadership and direction for the Practices multiple entities
    • Provides standards for all budgeting (operational and capital) activity. Oversee budget preparation and reporting / monitoring progress
    • Oversee the review the preparation of timely, accurate and meaningful financial statements and reports for all Practice entities
    • Deliver financial reports to Board of Directors, Shareholders and Key Stakeholders
    • Oversee the preparation of pro forma business analysis and plans to assess merger and acquisition opportunities and strategies to determine if such practices are a good strategic fit for the organization from a financial and operational perspective. Conduct post-acquisition financial reviews to ensure that initial volume, productivity and financial targets are being met.
    • Assist in leading the organization through the analysis of health policy initiatives and other regulatory matters, recommending actions/responses/initiatives and associated financial modeling strategies for ensuring the continued financial health of the Practice
    • Provides leadership and direction regarding the organizations financial operations to all members of the management team
    • Works with practice leadership to assist in the administration of all physician compensation agreements and paradigms
    • Works with team members and external CPAs to develop appropriate tax strategies for the enterprise
    • Works with team members to establish and maintain proper internal controls and corporate compliance
    • Oversees treasury functions for enterprise and maintains relationships with lenders
    • Oversee valuations of practice and real estate assets and serve as liaison to key stakeholders
    • Maintains professional affiliations and enhances professional growth and development by keeping abreast or current trends
    • Represent URG throughout the community and within the health care financial management procession; participate in community organizations as requested

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree or higher
    • Healthcare experience preferred
    • CPA or MBA preferred
    • Executive level
