Shields Health has an exciting opportunity for an PET/CT Technologist, to work 8 hours/week (on Saturday) at our mobile unit in either Gardner or Attleboro, MA.

**Work with cutting-edge imaging technology
Follow all Shields Health Care Group policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times.
Follow rules and regulations established by the NRC, state regulatory agencies, and JCAHO.
Operate PET equipment to produce images and measure concentrations of Radioactive Isotopes in specific body areas and body products.
Maintain visual and verbal contact with the patient during the exam.
Record patient data to Tech Data Entry program.
Provide and issue films when appropriate.
Forward PET related data to Radiologist upon completion of exam.
Assist clerical staff as circumstances arise.
Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms as needed.
A minimum of one-year prior nuclear medicine experience is required. Must be able to sit and utilize a computer for extended periods of time. Extensive interactions with all customer groups, including patients, families, referring community and other SHC employees. Will also have regular interactions with contractors, vendors, and medical transport personnel.

The incumbent will perform work of a lower or equivalent classification as required or directed, and work of higher classification for training and development purposes or as situationally warranted.
