    We are on the lookout for a Pavement Maintenance Technician (PMT) Crew Lead for our Hampton Roads crew.

    As the PMT Crew Lead, your role will involve a range of projects for diverse clients throughout the city. This is a seasonal position running from mid-April through November, requiring 30+ hours per week with potential weekend and overtime shifts. Overnight work is available from Sunday to Thursday.

    WHAT YOULL DO

    • Perform line painting, asphalt crack-filling and sealcoating, power washing, epoxy flooring, and more using equipment
    • Plan and oversee the execution of high-quality projects
    • Provide daily job updates to the Operations Manager
    • Supervise the PMTs (3-4 member team)
    • Collaborate with OPs Manager to maintain equipment
    • Ensure all necessary materials and equipment are prepared for jobs
    • Swiftly resolve any on-site issues with PMTs and clients
    • Maintain a safe work environment
    • Perform additional tasks as needed

    WHAT YOU BRING
    • VA drivers license with a spotless record (Drivers Abstract required) and reliable transportation
    • Minimum 2 years of crew management experience (references necessary)
    • Self-motivated critical thinker with problem-solving skills
    • Value punctuality, organization, and attention to detail
    • Capable of physically demanding work involving walking, bending, and lifting (up to 75lbs)
    • Proficient in independent work
    • Past exposure to small engines (e.g., lawnmowers) and/or paint sprayers
    • 2+ years of prior experience in the industry
