    Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time Opportunity in Scarsdale, NY

    Requirements:

    • Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    • Possess state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state.
    • Hold certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
    • Previous experience in school-based settings is preferred.
    • Proficiency in local and state regulations governing speech-language therapy services in schools.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct evaluations and assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders, crafting tailored treatment plans.
    • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students, focusing on improving communication skills and enhancing participation in school activities.
    • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and team members to ensure students' academic and communication success.
    • Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes.
    • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings as necessary.
