- Responsible for submitting, tracking, and logging of all samples, required reports and/or information based on established processes with Licensor, and providing thorough follow-up with Licensor and Internal Team(s) via email.
- Maintain proper and detailed records, communications, and documentation regarding Licensor approvals, comments, notes, changes, and so on.
- Communicate professionally with our licensing partners, regarding approvals.
- Manage samples, artwork, and other work product relevant to the licensing program(s).
- Maintain work area by cleaning, organizing, and labeling items in storage on a regular basis.
- Receive samples from various contractors or factories and update internal calendar on what has been received and reaching out to corresponding teams for what's missing.
- Take hi-res pictures of all received samples for submissions and log all pictures in an easy-to-understand way for future reference.
- Other items such as assisting with new order e-mails, concept, pre-production, creating PowerPoints, contractual submissions, and prepping for buyer reviews will be required whenever needed
- Responsible for ensuring all employees in design and other relevant departments are trained and educated on best practices and Licensor policies/procedures.
- Coordinate deliveries to Licensors, including boxing goods and addressing packages.
- Ensure that for assigned projects/requests, that all relevant information is placed within our PLM or other internal systems, following up with individuals where information is missing.
- Attend sales, buyer, handoff, fittings, or other meetings where necessary to perform your best and ensure that the product we deliver is top notch.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in merchandising, product development or related field, required.
- 3+ years of experience in merchandising/licensing functions within an apparel manufacturer.
- Amazing PowerPoint skills.
- Some working knowledge of Adobe Suite.
- Impeccable organizational ability.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- PLM experience a plus.
- Direct experience supporting Licensor/Licensee relationships and programs.
- Experience supporting a Club (Costco / Sams) program a plus.
