The purpose ofthis position is to manage assigned portfolio of key suppliers across North Americawith a focus on promoting and growing all applications in Pharma divisionprofitably; To meet Brenntag's corporate goals as well as suppliers' targetexpectations.

To manage assignedportfolio of key suppliers and product categories across North America with afocus on promoting and growing all applications in Pharma division profitably.

Manages an assigned group of suppliers ona North American basis;Participates with sales management andthe business units in establishing recommended pricing and price changes basedon market intel;Contributes and participates withbusiness units in the creation of product line growth strategies for selectedmarket segments;Develops and maintains effective andstrategic relationships with key suppliers;Plans key suppliers business reviews andprovides updates on customer activities as needed;Provides technical support to the salesorganization and/or other members of the marketing, procurement, regulatory andoperations team as required;Ensures that business plans for Pharmaare developed and implemented in a timely and effective manner;Determines potential gaps in productportfolio and investigates possible vendor partners to fill these gaps forPharma applications;Analyzes market trends and preparesforecasts of assigned products to achieve Specialties overall target forinventory turns as well as individual target for dead and extremely slow movingstock;Manages activities throughout the orderfulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure inventory minimum andestablished deadlines are met.
