    Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Primary Role:
    The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for leading the financial management and fiscal operations of the company in alignment with industry best practices, including not-for-profit standards
    This role encompasses oversight of business planning, accounting, budgeting, fiscal management, financial reporting, and forecasting
    The CFO provides strategic leadership and supervision for our client's finance, facilities, corporate compliance, and transportation departments
    The primary strategic goals include optimizing returns on investments, streamlining workflow processes, increasing revenue, and enhancing relationships with funders, strategic partners, and new business opportunities
    As an integral part of the executive management team, the CFO serves as a senior business partner to the CEO and collaborates closely with other executive team members

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute the company's fiscal strategy, including financial planning, budgeting, and performance evaluation
    • Provide timely and accurate financial analysis, reporting, and trend analysis to support decision-making by the CEO and the Board
    • Enhance and enforce financial policies and procedures to improve overall operational efficiency
    • Continuously improve the budgeting process and provide regular financial reports to department directors
    • Maintain a robust cash flow projection system to meet operational needs
    • Optimize banking relationships and cash management strategies
    • Analyze long-term economic trends and assess opportunities for growth, acquisitions, and market expansion
    • Supervise fund investments and advise on financial aspects of contracts
    • Oversee finance, corporate compliance, and maintenance divisions, focusing on efficiency, effectiveness, and individual team member development
    • Implement billing systems and optimize third-party collections in collaboration with relevant teams
    • Manage the annual budget and develop case rates, funding proposals, and return on investment analyses
    • Lead the Finance Strategic Plan in coordination with the CEO
    • Participate actively in audits, compliance reviews, and other quality assessments
    • Supervise, train, and oversee team members in the finance, facilities, corporate compliance, and transportation departments
    • Ensure compliance with facility and transportation standards and company expectations
    • Participate in health and safety activities, including safety inspections and drills
    • Act as a member of the Executive Management Team
    • Cultivate strong relationships with funders and attend meetings as assigned
    • Collaborate on technology initiatives to support our client's mission
    • Serve as the Safety Officer for the company
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • The CFO oversees team members directly and through subordinate supervisors in the finance, facilities, corporate compliance, and transportation departments
    Responsibilities include recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
