- Manage and support the Information Assurance A&A Process for information systems, enclaves, and application systems as directed by DS's Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
- Provide review of inputs from technical leads for inclusion in A&A packages to ensure adherence to submission requirements
- Prepare A&A final documentation for submission
- Track / monitor POA&Ms and work with technical leads to compile responses
- Assist Information System Security Officers (ISSO) with reporting, briefings and analysis
- Maintain situational awareness of IA posture (including PO&AM updates), conduct internal reviews annually, and work with the system owner to initiate recertification, as required
- Ensure that the A&A documentation and reporting is updated and maintained to reflect changes
- Support Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) reporting
- Collaborate with ENM and IA counterparts to drive standardization across common platforms
- Other duties as assigned.
- Networking Certifications a plus
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) a plus
- Bachelor's Degree - Information or Computer Systems or STEM related field.
- Experience handling multiple projects at once.
- Experience taking over management of projects at different levels of completion.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with security A&A policy, procedures, and processes, including Federal requirements (NIST and
- Top Secret Clearance required.
- Must be a United States Citizen.
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization.
- Shall have the requisite skills, expertise, and experience to perform the requirements of each task
- Must have excellent skills using Microsoft and Google Suite Products (Word, Excel, Power Point) and be able to learn new software as the situation dictates.
- Current Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
- Previous work experience at the Department of State
- Professional office environment.
- Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties while standing for extended periods of time.
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
- Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.
