Speech Language Pathologist Needed for Upcoming School Year Near Elizabeth City, NC

Location: Elizabeth City, NC
Job Title: SLP Speech Language Pathologist

We are interviewing for several SLP positions in the area for this upcoming school year.?

Details/Specifications:

• Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
• Onsite
• August 2024 to June 2025
• K-12 Students
• Caseload may vary depending on interview?

Responsibilities:

• Assess elementary school students for speech and language disorders
• Create customized treatment plans and collaborate with teachers and parents for implementation
• Deliver therapy services targeting communication skills enhancement
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans according to student progress
• Maintain accurate student records and liaise with parents and professionals as needed
• Participate in school meetings and professional development for updated practices in speech language pathology

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
• CCC - Certificate of Clinical Competence required
• Experience in school settings
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Independent and team-oriented work approach
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in speech language pathology
