    Asphalt Sales Representative is an integral part of our company. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, personable, and possess a heavy construction background. The role requires comfort in working around job sites, generating leads from industry networking events, cold calling individual companies, and maintaining relationships with existing customers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Establish, maintain, and strategically build a solid customer base within the asphalt market.
    • Strive to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support.
    • Target job sites throughout the North division to identify potential leads and opportunities for asphalt sales.
    • Analyze current pricing trends and competitive advantages to develop effective sales strategies.
    • Collaborate with project managers and estimators to identify upcoming projects and potential sales opportunities.
    • Coordinate FOB sales with asphalt operations and trucking departments to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
    • Coordinate North Alabama FOB ALDOT and county bids, ensuring accurate pricing and timely submission.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in sales, particularly within the construction industry, is preferred.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
    • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software is advantageous.
    • Knowledge of asphalt products and industry regulations is a plus.
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites and industry events as needed.
