Job summary
The Processor is responsible for the accurate timely and compliant processing of clinical specimens to support laboratory testing and diagnostic services.This role is critical to specimen integrity turnaround time and overall laboratory quality. The Processor works collaboratively with laboratory staff to support daily operations in a growing laboratory environment and demonstrates flexibility as workflows and volumes evolve.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Accurately receive identify and process specimens in accordance with test requirements and laboratory procedures including labeling centrifuging aliquoting freezing and preparing specimens for transport or testing.
- Enter specimen patient data accurately efficiently into laboratory information systems other required computer applications.
