Job summary
The Roger Bacon Academy is an education management organization that manages multiple charter schools in southeastern North Carolina. We are always seeking outstanding applications for Substitute Teachers.To assist the Content Teacher, Teacher Assistant, or to teach in successfully preparing students with the knowledge and strategies they will need in order to master the curriculum and achieve a passing score on standardized tests. To also help students learn skills that will contribute to their social development.
- Assist with morning drop off and afternoon pickup if required.
- Communicate with parents as needed in the event of an injury or behavior incident.
- Accompany student to the office to take temperature or to call parent if the student is not feeling well.
