Supabase Backend + WordPress Frontend Developer for Sports Betting Contest System

Job description
We run a sports analytics platform built on WordPress (WP Engine) with a Supabase-powered backend that handles contest logic and sports data (OddsAPI integration).
We are looking for an experienced developer to implement two new contest formats and integrate them cleanly into our existing system.

- Monthly Wins Leaderboard
- Uses same daily pick as current Streak Survivor contest
- Track total wins per calendar month
- Automatic reset at the beginning of each month
- Ranking + defined tiebreaker logic
- Automated grading after games close
- Dedicated leaderboard view
- Perfect Week Challenge
- Same pick logic as current contest
- 7 consecutive daily wins = winner
- Reset streak on loss
- Leaderboard with ranking logic
- Automated grading
Backend Requirements (Supabase)
- Extend existing schema without breaking current Pick Streak contest
- Write clean SQL migrations
- Create leaderboard views or materialized views
- Implement automated grading (Edge Functions or scheduled jobs)
- Handle pushes, voids, postponed games
- Production-ready architecture
Frontend Requirements (WordPress)
- Integrate 2 new leaderboard pages into WordPress
Could be:
o Custom WordPress templates
o Shortcodes
o Or API-driven components embedded into pages
- Mobile-first responsive design
- Stack all 3 leaderboards together in UI
- Show rank, username, wins/streak, W/L, stats
- Match existing design and styling
Deliverables
- Supabase migrations
- Grading automation scripts
- API endpoints
- WordPress integration (plugin or template-based)
- Production-ready deployment
- Brief setup documentation

10–14 days maximum.

Required Experience
- Strong Supabase experience (SQL, RLS, Edge Functions)
- WordPress development experience (custom themes/plugins)
- Experience integrating external APIs into WordPress
- Betting logic or sports data experience preferred
- Clean, scalable architecture
