    About the Position

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual motivated to continue growing as a logistics professional. You'll be part of a dynamic team of committed and innovative professionals—where you'll wear many different hats. As Logistics & Transportation Manager, you will be pivotal in purchasing, transportation planning, customer service, and vendor management. You will coordinate and manage the transportation and logistics operations within LKAB, including transportation routes and schedules, negotiating contracts with sales and vendors, and monitoring shipments. The ideal candidate will enjoy a collaborative, transparent, and international work environment, taking pride in delivering outstanding customer service while providing top-notch logistics support. This role is based out of LKAB's US HQ in Chicago and reports directly to the President of North America.

    What You'll Be Doing More Specifically:

    • and implement logistics strategies to optimize transportation operations and improve overall efficiency
    • and coordinate transportation routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
    • contracts and rates with sales and vendors, international freight
    • and track shipments to ensure they reach their destination on time and in good condition

    What We Expect from You

    Work Experience, Education, Skills, & Traits

    • years of demonstrated logistics and transportation management experience with a global company
