Lead Technician - College Oak San Antonio, Texas, United States

Data Projections has current openings to add experienced audio-visual technicians to their teams in Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio Texas. Position will complete technical installations of audio/visual systems including all projectors calibrate audio/video systems implement Crestron and AMX control systems troubleshoot audio video control system problems oversee installation crews performing network installations low voltage installations.- Perform system diagnostics trouble shooting report issues to Project Manager
- Manage onsite technicians assist Project Manager with overall project needs
- Provide effective communication supplying daily updates to project managers communicate with Project Manager on personnel performance issues perform quality control check on finished product projects attend construction meetings in place of Project Managers Designers when needed post project walkthrough with client if needed interface with external internal clients manufacture vendors pre-installation site survey when needed fabricate racks in-house onsite at client location rig mount equipment displays installation structured cabling include pulling terminating testing cat5e6 video RGB HDMI DVI audio cables installation AV equipment include audio video conferencing equipment distributed audio digital signage sound reinforcement control systems presentation systems responsible signing out securing inventory non-inventory consumables per project restocking inventory van equipment consumables daily identify solve issues impact project ensure project deliverables milestones met close out documentation punch list items responsible returning product warehouse inventory DOA follow safety guidelines Company client requirements other related duties assigned education certification experience minimum high school diploma GED degree preferred years experience A/V installation including equipment rack fabrication site preparation termination calibration audiovideoequipment implementation controlsystem corporate education government home theater environment lead technician overseeing technical projects crews equivalent combination related education experience applicants discuss examples completed projects provide references qualifications ability think work independently demonstrate organizing implementing skills allow successful completion specific due date excellent written oral communication skills strong interpersonal customer service skills experience reading understanding architecture electrical structural AVsystems drawings plus teachable disposition willing attitude continuing education flexibility work outside job description need arises extensive experience teamoriented collaborative environment analytical problem-solving troubleshoot abilities deductive reasoning skills PC Network knowledge selfstarter keen attention detail effectively prioritize execute tasks highpressure environment possible out town projects hotel multiple overnight trips ability work day evening weekend shifts must have valid drivers license safe driving record pass background check preemployment screenings physical demands sitting standing stooping bending long extended periods time dexterity hands fingers operate computer keyboard mouse power tools handle office equipment ability lift transport moderately heavy equipment pounds climb ladder scaffolding transported lifts ability driveoperate vehicle all requirements modified reasonable accommodate individuals disabilities compensation benefits Data Projections offers competitive salaries comprehensive benefits package medical dental vision 401k employer matching Data Projections proudly embraces diversity continues Equal Opportunity Employer
