- Provide direct leadership and coordination of all pharmaceutical care activities of decentralized clinical pharmacists and oversight of decentralized clinical inpatient credentialed pharmacists.
- Assign work to subordinate staff and oversees to ensure adherence to professional standards, departmental goals and all applicable laws and regulations.
- Recommend and initiate changes and updates to instructions, regulations and other guidance as needed.
- Establish performance plans and monitors performance with assigned subordinates quarterly and annually.
- Write prescriptions for legend and over-the-counter medications IAW DDEAMC policies as approved by the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.
