Simpluris seeks to hire a Director of Software Development to oversee and direct our current and future software engineers and associated staff in various internally and externally facing projects.

Our company is currently growing in multiple strategic areas and we are looking for a leader who can grow with us by adapting to and guiding the various business needs along the way.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable at a strategic and tactical

level

across multiple disciplines in the software development realm with proven experience in critical areas such as architecture, cloud microservice and serverless technologies,

coding

amp; documentation standards, QA/testing, agile/scrum methodologies, operational oversight, project management, and communications.

Simpluris is a technology forward company looking to continue to leverage emerging and best-of-breed tech to provide exemplary solutions to various thorny problems in the legal administration world.

This position can be fully remote, but we do offer physical offices in Orlando, Florida, and

Costa Mesa , California if you prefer to work in an office environment, but is NOT required

RequirementsResponsibilities:
Oversee

all software

development operations and supervise software development staff including driving architecure and roadmap with technical and business groupsWork with other technology leadership to coordinate and implement cohesive technology solutionsGuide development of strategy as it relates to the organization's software development initiatives ( application development , roadmap development, etc.)Work with customer facing

departments

and clients to facilitate internal and external project needs /

requirements

(production focused at times with ability to be agile and responsive to the various internal and external demands)

Develop, manage, and track the Software Development department's KPI's and annual budget and purchasing initiativesInterface with stakeholders across the organization to identify business and technology strategies, execute on business goals, and to optimize the use of software development resourcesOversee creation of processes, procedures, and standards around software development lifecycle including working with compliance initiativesProvide direction, guidance, and training to software development staff Original jobs :
