    Description

    • Lead and guide managers and staff to surpass performance metrics across safety, quality, customer service, costs, inventory management, and production.
    • Establish performance goals encompassing safety, quality, productivity, and cost for facility operations.
    • Analyze key metrics of bakery operations, generate reports, and formulate recommendations.
    • Supervise the coordination and scheduling of production to align with sales and marketing demands while meeting service expectations.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to minimize downtime and enhance bakery efficiencies.
    • Provide support and direction for Continuous Improvement programs at the location.
    • Conduct walkthroughs of production areas, identify problem areas, determine causes, and take corrective actions to ensure policy compliance.
    • Ensure the bakery maintains readiness for inspections at all times.
    • Oversee adherence to Warehouse FEFO practice, cleanliness, and operational standards.
    • Establish safety standards and ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention and security policies.
    • Ensure bakery compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
    • Develop and execute financial and non-financial objectives, including annual budgeting, financial forecasts, and operating plans.
    • Monitor departmental performance to ensure alignment with budgeted operating standards.
    • Direct customer relations activities to cultivate effective relationships with key customers.
    • Collaborate with FSQA to manage customer complaints, vendor issues, and ensure product meets customer specifications.
    • Coordinate the selection, motivation, and development of bakery employees to ensure adequate staffing and future management succession.
    • Promote positive employee relations and drive enhancements in employee retention and skill development.
    • Fulfill any additional duties as assigned or required and actively engage in special projects as designated.

    Profile

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or Finance with at least 7 years of experience in food manufacturing, including managerial roles; OR Associates Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or Finance with a minimum of 10 years of experience in food manufacturing, including managerial positions.
    • Background in quality, accounting, engineering, or production within the food manufacturing industry.
    • Strong leadership, communication (both written and verbal), and team-building abilities.
    • Proficiency in managing local vendors.
    • Previous experience in a Total Productive Management (TPM) environment.
    • General understanding of process equipment and regulatory requirements.
    • Demonstrated experience in budgeting within a manufacturing setting and a solid grasp of profit and loss principles.
    • Excellent writing, mathematical, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
    • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
    • Computer literate with expertise in spreadsheet and word processing applications.

    Job Offer

    • $160,000 - $180,000 Base Salary
