Description
The mission of The University of Texas M. D.Anderson Cancer Center is to eliminate cancer in Texas, the nation, and the world through outstanding programs that integrate patient care, research and prevention, and through education for undergraduate and graduate students, trainees, professionals, employees and the public.

Woodlands
The primary purpose of the Senior Public Safety Officer position is to screen students, patients, staff, faculty and visitors entering the facilities of the University for proper identification.
Monitor, operate and report issues identified with security technology, software and devices.
Develop, mentor and evaluate personnel to meet professional standards and customer expectations.
Act as team leaders and works closely with Supervisor, Public Safety to accomplish department objectives.
In the absence of the Public Safety Supervisor may be required to perform Public Safety Supervisor duties. In emergencies, facilitate the orderly evacuation of the buildings and structures.
Education Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience Required:
Two years experience as a Public Safety Officer or related experience. With preferred education, no experience required. Valid Class A, B or C Texas driver's license.
Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
