Electrical Engineer

Central Coast company is adding an Electrical Engineer to their growing team.

The candidate will be able to design the next generation of high-speed, low-noise electronics for analytical instrumentation technologies under consideration.

Responsibilities

Embedded hardware, sensor/multi-protocol interfacing, and product design
Analog and digital circuit design
Debug issues relating to firmware, hardware, mobile app, and web
Schematic design
Printed Circuit board layout
Work well with a small engineering team to research new technologies and find ways to
incorporate them into new products
Design, conduct and document experiments to evaluate new technologies
Build support documentation to aid in production and sales
Assist the production floor with hands on training and support
Manage and create training protocols for repairs

Qualifications

BSEE with 3+ years of experience
Experience in embedded electronics with microcontroller assembly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with PCB design software (Eagle preferred)
Knowledge or experience with environmental sensors
Hands on experience building prototypes and troubleshooting
Programming skills in Assembly, C, C++ preferred
