    The Supply Planner is part of Darigold's supply planning team in Seattle.

    They play a central role in production and inventory planning by developing, maintaining, and publishing a Master Production Schedule (MPS) and inventory reporting for Darigold's consumer products.

    The Supply Planner will gain a deep understanding of the consumer products business and make recommendations on production strategies to leadership.

    Success in this role is determined by ability to manage supply plans and scenarios, build strong cross-functional relationships, and think creatively within a complex business environment to maximize business results through superior customer order fulfillment.

    Additionally, this position has the opportunity to influence the business at a strategic level by maintaining and enhancing capacity models, contributing to Darigold's monthly supply review process, and refining business planning processes.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):Provide a production plan to plants considering customer demand profiles, inventory age, plant capacities, materials availability and other factorsBuild + maintain intermediate range month) supply models of the business, identifying gaps in capabilities vs demand, and making recommendations to leadership of reconciliation optionsProvide inventory forecasts to leadership based on the supply and demand plan to support strategic inventory management decisionsOwn capacity modeling process for your respective plants based on demonstrated capabilities and expected future step-changesPartner with sales, logistics, and customer service to ensure orders are shipped on-time and in fullPartner with sales, logistics, customer service, and demand planning to ensure supply is consumed within it's saleable life and minimize inventory write-downsMaintain master item data integrity to ensure accurate reporting and high-integrity plans within the organizationLearn the processes and duties of other planning areas to provide backup as neededManage seasonal SKU activity and plan for inventory buildsContinuously improve effectiveness of cross-cutting decision making and execution processes in order to meet organizational financial and service objectivesMaintains ownership and accuracy of master data for the Supply Planning organization and works cross functionally with IT as necessary to maintainKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Bachelor's degree or higher in business, finance, operations, or supply chain3+ years of experience in supply planning, inventory management, or supply chain3+ years of experience in a manufacturing field in an analytical or planning roleStrong computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Excel requiredSkilled in other Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Outlook)

    Strong analytical capabilityStrong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated organization, follow-up, and detail orientationAbility to prioritize competing assignments and meet established deadlinesEducation, Experience and Certifications:

    Compensation range:
