Description

As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing processes, managing accounts receivable, and providing excellent customer service to clients.

• Prepare and submit accurate and timely invoices to clients
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable
• Handle medical collections and resolve billing discrepancies
• Maintain uptodate knowledge of insurance regulations and reimbursement guidelines
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding billing issues
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billingrelated concerns
• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records
• Utilize financial concepts and analysis to identify trends or areas for improvement
• Assist with telemarketing efforts to promote payment options or resolve outstanding balances

• Strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations and data entry
• Experience in accounts receivable and medical collection processes
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
• Knowledge of medical billing procedures and coding systems (e.g., CPT, ICD)
• Ability to reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies
• Familiarity with financial concepts such as credit analysis and account reconciliation
