The Catering Coordinator will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support by handling information requests and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence receiving visitors and scheduling meetings.
Responsibilities
- Politely and professionally answers phones and greets clients for the main and catering lines Takes messages and fields/answers all routine non-routine questions accurately transferring high volume of calls to the appropriate department Responds to inquiries inbound phone calls written electronic Email fax Drafts sends well-constructed professional correspondence proposals for clients/potential clients under the direction of the Unit Manager Schedules property tours organizes catering requests under the direction of the Unit Manager Maintain accurate filing system storing catering documents directed manager Maintain accurate records catered events Assist Unit Manager creating distributing catering reports necessary department Assist Unit Managers unit opening closing procedures needed Maintain positive guest relations times notify Unit Manager complaints efficient timely manner Notify Manager unusual events circumstances safety quality control issues Maintain cleanliness designated office areas equipment Organize replenish supplies needed.
