- Assist with scheduling interviews for attorney and professional staff candidates, coordinating with internal teams and external applicants to ensure seamless execution.
- Support the Recruiting Manager in executing on‑campus and lateral recruiting initiatives, including preparing materials, scheduling interviews, and maintaining communication with candidates.
- Review candidate applications, prepare interview schedules, distribute candidate materials, conduct preliminary interviews, and collect feedback from interviewers.
- Maintain and update recruiting databases, track applicant status, and generate reports as needed.
- Assist with offer letter preparation, background checks, and other onboarding‑related tasks.
- Help coordinate aspects of the summer associate program and other talent initiatives as assigned.
- Collaborate with HR and cross‑functional stakeholders on recruiting‑related projects, events, communications, and process improvements.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in recruiting or HR, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines with a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset.
- Comfort using applicant tracking systems (ATS), Excel, and other productivity and project management tools.
- Professionalism and sound judgment when interacting with candidates, attorneys, and staff at all levels.
- Familiarity with recruiting processes and industry best practices.

Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support the firm's recruiting efforts across attorney, legal support, and operations roles. Reporting to the Recruiting Manager, this role plays a key part in coordinating interview logistics, managing candidate tracking systems, and ensuring a positive experience for candidates and internal stakeholders alike. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, detail‑oriented, and eager to contribute to a high‑performing recruiting team.
This position will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days remote. The role may be based in either our Washington, D.C., or Lake Mary, Florida, office. The compensation for this position is $85,000 to $100,000, depending on experience, plus a discretionary bonus and benefits.
