- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent related work experience required. MBA desired.
- Minimum of five years' experience in a consumer products organization; confectionery industry experience a plus.
- Proven track record of successful brand leadership and demonstrated ability to successfully achieve goals and objectives in an entrepreneurial and aggressive growth-oriented company necessary.
- Ability to effectively perform in a matrix organization.
- Excellent communication,presentation, project management, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic Leadership: Lead a team of cross-functional partners in the development and execution of brand strategies and annual plans into an actionable Go to Market approach. This role is responsible for both short-term and long-term business planning.
- P&L Management: Own Profit and Loss responsibility for portfolio, managing both topline and bottom-line, A&P spending, and market share objectives.
- Innovation: Define the innovation roadmap for our Everyday Candy Portfolio. Lead cross-functional efforts, in close partnership with product development to develop and commercialize initiatives.
- Business Analysis: Leverage data and analytics to inform strategic decisions and responsibility for forecast accuracy of ongoing demand to ensure strong in-market execution.
- Consumer Research & Insight: Build custom quantitative and qualitative research to answer key strategic business questions then convert and develop results into inspiring and actionable insights.
- Brand Equity Building: Partner with Consumer Engagement team and external agencies to develop brand positioning, compelling agency briefs, media strategy, and total brand communications with consideration of a multi-funnel, omni-channel approach. Manage agencies and vendors to execute marketing tactics, evaluate results, and drive continuous optimization.
- Sales Partnership: Collaborate closely with the Sales team to optimize selling strategies and provide support in building holistic account-level growth plans.
