- Identify and escalate SDLC issues and gaps
- Collaborates with Business Analysts, Software Development Engineers in Test, Product Owners, other Developers, and other department personnel to obtain a thorough understanding of applications and business processes to better support the users
- Mentors and provides technical guidance and training to Associates and Developers
- Contribute ideas to improve the technical solution, keeping performance and efficiency as priorities, while meeting business requirements
- Understand business requirement documentation and develop solutions from it
- Anticipates, identifies, and escalates issues/risks. Leverages personal and experiential knowledge to propose workarounds, prevention, and/or solutions
- Contribute to SDLC documentation and encourage everyone to follow processes
- Look for and suggest improvements in efficiencies to reduce costs and be responsible and accountable as an employee owner
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- 4-6 years of experience in software development
- Proficiency with C#, .Net MVC, RESTful APIs, Angular, SQL, and/or X++
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Experience with Azure DevOps and build/release pipelinesSkills Required
- Understand and plan for future paths as part of the long-term department plan
- Solid business awareness and understanding
- Extensive knowledge of Agile philosophies and Scrum practices
