Vanguard Fire & Security Systems, Inc. is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team at our headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI. This person must have exceptional organizational skills, an eye-for-detail, and the ability to multi-task.
They should be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, and be willing to assume various responsibilities in relation to company growth.

Responsibilities:

• Review invoices for accuracy and approval
• Process payments to vendors
• Communicating with vendors in regards to payments or discrepancies
• Maintain the highest ethical standards at all times
• Adhere to company policies
• Accept other duties and tasks assigned with proven skills and abilities

Qualifications/Experience

• Demonstrate an aptitude for finance, pricing, and general inventory
• Previous experience processing and paying invoices
• Exhibit intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities to interact with colleagues and executives
