    Cacique is currently looking to add a warehouse coordinator to our expanding team in Amarillo.

    A warehouse coordinator maintains many of the same responsibilities as a warehouse associate, keeping track of inventory, overseeing shipments and deliveries, and keeping the warehouse organized.

    In addition to the organizational skills and physical strength required to manage and store inventory, the warehouse coordinator job description also requires the ability to manage any administrative and clerical details necessary to keep the warehouse running smoothly.

    Position Description


    The warehouse coordinator processes orders, accepts deliveries, and keeps the warehouse organized, which includes everything from physically moving product around the warehouse space to properly maintaining all shipping and receiving records.

    Work Environment


    Warehouse temperatures are variable and often uncontrolled unless the product being stored requires that the maintenance of a specific temperature.


    Conditions in the warehouse can be dangerous, as tasks involve the operation of heavy machinery and transporting of large product loads.

    Tasks are physically demanding, requiring long hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.

    Duties / Essential Job Functions

    Manages order printing and issuing to the warehouse.

    Completes driver check in and document processing

    Completes systematic PO receipts

    Coordinates processing paperwork to Finance and Quality Assurance

    Works cross functionally with logistics on shipping schedule

    Enters purchase requisitions for supplies, as directed by the warehouse manager

    Ensures proper procedures are in place and being followed for production efficiency, quality of product, employee safety, and state and federal guidelines

    Recommends improvements to reduce cost and drive productivity within the department while achieving the targeted Sales to Service Goals

    Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems

    Maintains time and shipping records as required. Prepares reports for management review

    Ensure the work area is clean and organized at all times

    Leads by example with the Cacique Code of Ethics. This includes following Company policies, standards and specifications

    Is detail-oriented and capable of noticing small errors on orders or defective aspects of products.

    Maintains physical stamina and strength required to move heavy equipment and product weighing up to 50 pounds.

    Exhibits strong communication skills, essential for working with other employees and with customers.

    Demonstrates knowledge of WMS computer systems, and the ability to fix any unexpected glitches with these systems.

    Demonstrates the alertness and physical dexterity required to operate heavy machinery.

    Must be capable of managing time effectively and multi-tasking as necessary.

    Demonstrates familiarity with all warehouse safety precautions and can observe these at all times.

    Required Experience

    High school diploma or GED is required.

    Must be certified to operate forklifts and other machinery used for moving and transporting products.

    One year of

    standup & reach forklift

    experience required.

    Must have experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other inventory management software used by the company.
