TEKsystems is looking for a business analyst to be part of a Finance Looker Transition team that is transitioning dashboards from Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) to Google Looker. This role involves in-depth engagement with business users to elicit and meticulously document business requirements, ensuring a seamless and effective migration to the Google Looker platform.
Responsibilities:
● Engage with business users to elicit comprehensive requirements for dashboard features, aesthetics, and data representation.
● Accurately document business needs, detailing data sources, key metrics, and any bespoke features to be transferred or optimized within Google Looker.
● Collaborate with data engineers and visualization specialists to convert business needs into precise technical specifications.
● Develop product wireframes.
● Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders related to validation and sign-off.
● Confirm the fidelity of migrated dashboards to business requirements through thorough testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination.
● Educate and assist business users in adopting the new Google Looker dashboards, facilitating a smooth transition and integration.
● Act as an intermediary between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure transparent communication and a mutual understanding of the migration efforts.
● Keep diligent records of user input and revisions of the dashboards to foster ongoing enhancement.
● Oversee the dashboard migration project from start to finish, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality benchmarks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
● Prior experience with advanced visualization tools (OBIEE, Google Looker, Tableau, PowerBi, or similar BI tools).
● Experience in the healthcare sector and knowledge of relevant data compliance regulations.
● Exceptional ability to document complex business requirements with clarity and precision.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large data sets.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on stakeholder management.
● Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
● Intermediate to advanced skills in SQL and understanding of data modeling concepts.
● Epic Reporting Workbench or Epic Clarity Revenue Data Model certification highly preferred.
● Prior experience with OBIEE and familiarity with Google Looker or similar BI tools.
● Experience working with Google Looker
