    OVERVIEW:

    Plant Manager (Underground Mine) We are looking for a Plant Manager to join an industry-leading organization to lead efforts in a key underground mining operation.

    The role will focus on developing company-wide strategies related to recruiting, training, and retaining a strong team in an effort to provide top-notch quality to customers while maintaining overall project efficiency.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Plant Manager (Underground Mine) Manage a limestone open pit & underground mining operation with 30+ employees Identify deficiencies and implement a plan for continuous improvement Effectively manage staff by setting clear performance objectives, providing regular feedback and development through training Ensure compliance with all Company and Government policies and regulations Direct mine and pit planning per company expectations Efficient management of all mine/quarry employees.

    Plant Manager (Underground Mine) Bachelor's degree in mining engineering, geological engineering or similar is strongly preferred.

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations and or engineering as well as significant experience in aggregate processing procedures and underground/surface mining Minimum of 3 years of experience in personnel supervisory role.

    Working knowledge of AggQC and AggFlow is a plus Working knowledge of profit and loss statements and an understanding of basic accounting principles Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to develop leadership at the lead person and foreman levels Demonstrated ability in identifying, communicating and implementing best operating practices, including quality, maintenance, production and safety excellence.
