Highlighted Job Description

Supervises and oversees activities of Technologists in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, providing diagnostic and therapeutic services as prescribed.

• Contributes to policy development from a professional and technical standpoint.
• Provides input to procedure/protocol development, ensures compliance, and interprets procedural intent as required. Monitors workflow and schedules staff accordingly.
• Offers feedback on performance appraisals and personnel actions, including hiring and disciplinary processes.
• Plays a role in setting immediate, daily, and monthly goals and measures for functions or processes.
• Assists in monitoring budgets and works with vendors to ensure adequate supply levels.
• May manage consignment agreements and assist with new employee orientation.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Graduate from an approved cardiovascular tech program or registered radiology tech program or equivalent education. RCIS or RCES certification; BLS; ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
2. Three years of progressively responsible interventional Catheterization or Interventional radiology or 3 years of Electrophysiology experience, including supervisory duties.
