    Job Title: Data Analyst

    Duration: 24 months (contract to hire)

    Location: Wayzata, MN 55391

    Pay Rate: $35.70/Hr on W2

    Description:

    Work Shifts: (Monday – Friday) 8AM - 5 PM CST ( Remote); prefer candidate to sit in Central Time Zone.

    The Data Analyst 2 will develop and provide business insights to help leaders make better decisions. You will partner with internal stakeholders and help execute a business technology strategy that improves compliance, meets requirements and drives efficiencies through standardization and innovation. In this position, you'll demonstrate familiarity with business technology concepts, data management and decision support. Facilitate data extraction, collection, cleansing and preparation for consumption. Drive reporting through the use of available technology (Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SAP) and develop technical solutions for an effective, efficient data analytics platform. Respond to ad-hoc data requests. Ensure timely and accurate data models that provide management information and analysis of function performance (key performance indicators, metrics). Conduct analyses of performance variables, data management, measurement and analytics, data design principles, concept and practices. Develop, with colleagues, detailed understanding of the business, and offer mentorship or technical solutions to solve business problems. Solve issues, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

    Duties Include

    • Create and maintain master data ( customer, vendor, product) in SAP ERP environment
    • Create, implement and maintain basic master data management solutions that enable users to optimize the system capabilities.
    • Support data and process improvement efforts to implement the identified opportunities.
    • Execute cleansing activities for master data to ensure the overall health of the data.
    • Work closely with essential partners to ensure compliance with data processes and procedures.
    • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

    Required Skills:

    • SAP experience managing master data or in any other capacity ( other ERPs are okay as long as candidate has experience in customer, materials, vendor data domains)
    • Strong analytics and communications skills
    • Ability to develop relationships with business data stakeholders

    Candidate Backgrounds could include:

    • Master Data Analysts involved with the manual Data Creation & Maintenance Process
    • Customer Service Representatives that process a high volume of Sales Orders with High Accuracy
    • Supply Chain Analysts responsible for maintaining MRP values for a high volume of materials.

    Preferred Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
