    We are growing and have multiple openings within our Manufacturing group at our Louisa, VA facility. Our Machine Assembler position is the first of its kind where the work is done in a production environment and the finished product seen by others. The position is based on a continuous production line that produces both standard and custom products.

    Role:

    The Assembly Clincher role of the position is to work within a team to assemble products using a small 2lb hand held piece of equipment to staple filter bags together according to standard assembly procedures, while adhering to customer specific assembly instructions for custom products.

    Responsibilities:
    • Verify that all parts meet quality standards and are properly attached
    • Ensure that all work areas are clean and safe for children or anyone else
    • Maintain a high level of quality throughout the operation
    • Perform all duties in a timely manner for a busy production line
    • Check all work areas for damage during each shift
    • Check all product for quality defects before each step of assembly process
    • Check all finished product for quality defects before each step of export or retail sale inspection
    • Complete all daily paperwork required by your supervisor including daily safety paperwork or weekly inspection results
    Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma/GED
    • Ability to read and understand instructions in English
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, use decimals and percentages
    • Use a level to ensure accurate measurement of items being assembled
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Must be able to stand for a 10 hour shift
    • Must possess attention to detail
