    A school districtin Bloomfield, CT is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team.     Job Description:

    As a School Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in the development and well-being of our students. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders, as well as collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create individualized intervention plans. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for professional growth.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conducting assessments to identify speech and language disorders
    • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
    • Providing direct therapy services to students
    • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs
    • Monitoring progress and adjusting intervention plans as needed
    • Participating in IEP meetings and other collaborative activities

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
    • Connecticut state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
    • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
    • Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
