Our client is currently seeking an ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH, and SAFETY MANAGER in Illinois.

Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures: You will need to develop policies and procedures to ensure that all manufacturing processes and products meet local, state, and Federal safety regulations and guidelines.

You will need to work with various departments within the organization to ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards.


Conducting safety and health training:

You will need to develop and conduct safety and health training programs to ensure that all employees are aware of the potential risks associated with their jobs and how to avoid them.

This training may include topics such as personal protective equipment, hazardous material handling, and emergency response procedures.


Environmental compliance:

You will need to develop and implement environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations.

This may include managing waste disposal, air and water quality monitoring, and sustainability initiatives.


Incident investigation and reporting:
In the event of a safety or environmental incident, you would need to investigate the incident, identify the root cause, and implement corrective actionsLead, coach, and manage 1 EHS Supervisor and develop a team to eventually on-board 1-2 more full time EHS Supervisor(s) in the very near future

Requirements/Skills:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or University.

Strong experience with OSHA regulations (desiging, implementing, and maintaining systems/processes).5+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment within an EHS specific role or function3+ years experience within a management level position.

Expereince helping to grow a facility a plus
